ABOUT US

The mission of Urban Butterfly Productions is to create and develop content relevant to the BIPOC population. The creative content is for a targeted diverse audience related to telling the story of BIPOC culture in America. Shifting the narrative that promotes a positive self image and wellness for people of color.  Celebration of diverse cultures is essential to achieving optimal health and wellness by sharing stories that reflect and promote an uplifting spirit. The information shared is focus on the cultural needs of people of color.

Dr. Cat , is a cultural anthropologist, sociologist, social worker, and historian. The works she has created focus on bringing awareness to the Black Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) perspective in American culture. She is a certified Diversity and Inclusion Specialist with vast experience as a professional speaker. She is an avid Change Management practitioner as a coach and professional mentor. As an accomplished author, she has written books and articles that are culturally inclusive. This includes approaches that enhance and promote diversity in American culture.
